US Major Stock Indexes Fall, Oil Rises More Than $6

New York, Sept. 10 (Petra) Major U.S. stock indexes fell on
Thursday, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil rose
more than $6 to $102.71 a barrel.

At the close of trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 316
points, or 0.60%, to 52,064 points.

The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 171 points, or 0.65%, to 26,081
points.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (S&P 500) fell about 44 points, or
0.58%, to 7,591 points.
