Jordan Securities Commission, Association of Banks sign memorandum of understanding

Amman, Sept. 13 (Petra) – The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) and
the Association of Banks in Jordan (ABJ) signed a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) on Sunday to enhance institutional cooperation,
streamline market operations, and support the development of the
Kingdom’s financial sector.

Under the MoU, both entities will share technical expertise, conduct
joint research, and collaborate on legislative reviews to optimize
regulatory frameworks.

The partnership also covers organizing specialized training programs
and public lectures to keep financial market participants updated on
industry best practices and emerging trends.

Additionally, the two sides agreed to exchange advisory support and
cooperate on internal workforce development programs tailored to
current and future industry priorities.

The agreement was signed at JSC offices by JSC Chair Emad Abu Haltam
and ABJ Director-General Maher Mahrouq.
