Senate President Receives Integrity Commission 2025 Report

Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) – Senate President Faisal Fayez on Monday
received a copy of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission’s
2025 annual report.

Fayez received the report from Commission Board Chairman Hazem Majali
in the presence of several board members.

He said the Senate supports the Commission’s efforts to strengthen
integrity, justice, and the rule of law, combat corruption, and
protect public funds.

Fayez added that the Senate is prepared to cooperate with the
Commission on legislative proposals related to its mandate. He said
the report would be reviewed by the Senate’s relevant committees in
coordination with concerned authorities to address the issues it
raises.

He pointed out that the Senate would work to address legislative
obstacles affecting the Commission’s work and stressed the importance
of preventive measures and proactive verification procedures.

Majali, for his part, presented the report’s main findings and
recommendations on strengthening the Commission’s role, improving its
working methods, protecting public funds, and addressing financial
and administrative violations.

He also outlined the Commission’s awareness and education activities,
efforts to strengthen the national integrity and governance
framework, and its future priorities.
