Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD10.9 million on Monday, with 5.1 million shares changing
hands through 4,397 contracts.
The general share price index rose 0.31 percent to reach 4,098
points.
The services sector index gained 0.74 percent, the industrial sector
rose 0.50 percent and the financial sector edged up 0.05 percent.
Of the 114 companies traded, 46 posted gains in their share prices
while 25 recorded declines compared with their previous closings.
