Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) — Two Palestinians, including one who
succumbed to his wounds, were killed and others injured in two
Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis on Monday.
According to the Palestinian news agency, WAFA, medical sources in
the Gaza Strip said one person died from wounds sustained when an
Israeli drone struck his home near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in
Gaza City earlier in the day.
A second Palestinian was killed, and others wounded, when an Israeli
airstrike targeted an area near Street 5 in northern Khan Younis, the
sources said.
Earlier on Monday, another Palestinian was killed and about 16 others
wounded, some critically, in Israeli airstrikes, shelling, and
gunfire targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip.
The death toll from Israel’s offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to
73,786, with 174,771 people wounded, since Oct. 7, 2023.
