Prince Hussein Civil Protection Academy graduates 14th cohort

Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) — Public Security Directorate Director Maj.
Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, chairman of the Higher Council of the Prince
Hussein bin Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection, attended the
graduation ceremony for the academy’s 14th cohort at the Cultural
Palace in Al Hussein Youth City.

The ceremony was attended by President of Al-Balqa Applied University
(BAU) Ahmad Fakhri Al-Ajlouni.

Maaytah presented certificates to the top students across a range of
academic disciplines. Graduate programmes included a master’s degree
in disaster and crisis management.

Bachelor’s degree programs covered mechanical engineering, with
specializations in firefighting and safety and renewable energy, as
well as disaster and crisis management and specialized medical
paramedicine.

Diploma programs included security and safety and logistical support.

The ceremony was attended by several academics, ambassadors, and
cultural attachés from brotherly countries, along with guests and
family members of the graduates, who joined in celebrating their
achievement and academic excellence.
