Amman, Sep. 15 (Petra) — Moderate weather will prevail across most
regions on Tuesday before a brief rise in temperatures on Wednesday,
followed by cooler conditions toward the end of the week, according
to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Temperatures will edge lower on Tuesday, keeping conditions moderate
across much of the country. Hot weather will remain concentrated in
the Badia and low-lying areas, including the Jordan Valley, the Dead
Sea and Aqaba, while moderate northwesterly winds may become active
at times.

The cooler spell will briefly give way on Wednesday as temperatures
rise slightly, bringing relatively hot conditions to most regions.
The Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba will remain hot.

Temperatures are forecast to fall again on Thursday, returning
moderate weather to most parts of the country. The Badia will become
relatively hot, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba
continue to experience hotter conditions.

The milder pattern will hold on Friday, with moderate weather across
most regions. Low clouds are expected over northern and central
areas, while westerly winds will become active at intervals and may
raise dust across the Badia.

Tuesday’s temperatures are forecast to reach 34 degrees Celsius in
East Amman and across the plains and 32 C in West Amman. Highs will
reach 31 C in the northern highlands, 30 C in the Sharah highlands
and 37 C in the Badia.

Temperatures will climb to 40 C in the northern Jordan Valley, at the
Dead Sea and in Aqaba, and 41 C in the southern Jordan Valley.
