Moscow, Sept. 15 (Petra) — Russia welcomed on Tuesday an initiative
proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump for a ceasefire halting
reciprocal strikes between Russia and Ukraine on energy
infrastructure, aimed at de-escalating tension and protecting
critical facilities.
Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in a statement that Moscow
reviewed U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal regarding the
cessation of strikes on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine,
describing it as a positive step. Peskov reaffirmed that Moscow
consistently supports peaceful solutions.
