Moscow, Sept 15 (Petra) — Russia’s Ministry of Energy announced on
Tuesday an 8 percent year-on-year increase in revenues from sea-borne
liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports during August, with flows
exceeding $1.3 billion over the latest half-month period according to
available data.
In a statement, the ministry said the rise in LNG export revenues
reflects higher shipment values in recent weeks, as Russia continues
to export sea-borne LNG to foreign markets despite challenges facing
its energy sector.
