Amman, Sept. 16 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD12.3 million Wednesday, as 6.3 million shares changed hands
through 5,433 contracts.
The general index edged up 0.13 percent to close at 4,111 points,
against the last session.
At the sector level, the industrial and financial indexes rose
0.36%and 0.12%, respectively, while the services benchmark surged
0.06%.
Of the 112 companies traded, 59 posted share price gains and 22 went
down.
