King departs on working tour to France, Czech Republic, United States

Amman, Sept. 16 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday
departed for France at the start of a working tour that will include
stops in the Czech Republic, and the United States.

In Paris, His Majesty, France President Emmanuel Macron, and Lebanon
President Gen. Joseph Aoun will chair the latest round of the Aqaba
Process meetings addressing ways to support the Lebanese Armed
Forces. The King will also hold talks with President Macron and
President Aoun.

In Prague, His Majesty will meet with President of the Czech Republic
Petr Pavel, and Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.

The King, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, will
conclude his tour in New York City, where he will deliver Jordan’s
address at the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly
meetings, which will also be attended by His Royal Highness Crown
Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.

His Majesty is due to hold a series of meetings, on the margins of
the 81st UNGA, with participating heads of state and delegation.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn
in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
