Manama, September 16 (QNA) – Bahrain has condemned in the strongest possible terms the escalating Houthi attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the attempted drone attack on Makkah Al Mukarramah, in a redux of the 2017 attack.
In a statement Wednesday, its Foreign Ministry confirmed that Bahrain stands fully in solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures pursued to protect its sovereignty, security and stability, as well as its citizens and residents.
In addition, the statement stressed that Bahrain calls on the Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take a resolute position to halt the Houthis’ repeated assaults on Saudi Arabia and take the perpetrators to task. (QNA)
