Moscow, Sept. 16 (Petra) — Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency
(Rosaviatsia) announced on Wednesday temporary flight restrictions at
Sochi International Airport and several other local airports across
the country’s southern region as part of precautionary measures to
ensure aviation safety.
In a statement, the agency said the temporary restrictions involve
regulating aircraft movements at affected airports to ensure the
safety of flights and passengers, without specifying how long the
measures will remain in place or providing further details regarding
the cause.
