Beirut, September 27 (QNA) – Attacks by the Israeli entity on areas in southern Lebanon have continued, with Israeli warplanes launching airstrikes on several towns, coinciding with artillery shelling and explosions in border areas.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported Sunday that airstrikes targeted Lebanese towns, including the area between Haris and Hadatha in the Bint Jbeil district, and Mays Al Jabal. Also, Israeli forces carried out powerful explosions in the town of Al Mansouri and on the outskirts of Baraachit and Beit Yahoun, also in the Bint Jbeil district.
Lebanon and the Israeli entity signed a US-brokered framework agreement on June 26. The agreement outlines security arrangements—including the gradual deployment of the Lebanese Army and the withdrawal of Israeli forces—alongside measures for reconstruction and economic recovery; however, the implementation of its provisions continues to face obstacles.
