Qatari Officials and Projects Honored at GCC Ceremony in Bahrain

Manama, October 09 (QNA) – Qatari officials and projects were honored at a ceremony in Bahrain recognizing leading figures and initiatives in civil service, development and social affairs across the GCC countries.

The ceremony was attended by HE President of Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and Secretary-General of the National Planning Council Dr Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, as well as HE Minister of Labor Ali bin Samikh Al Marri and HE Minister of Social Development and Family Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi.

Among those honored was HE President of National Cyber Security Agency Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki, who received the GCC Award in the civil service sector in recognition of his contributions at both the national and Gulf levels.

GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi said the achievements of those honored represented examples of Gulf excellence that had contributed to improving government and private-sector workplaces and advancing social and development initiatives.

He said joint Gulf cooperation continued to achieve progress through coordinated efforts among GCC member states. (QNA)
