Amman, Oct 10 (Petra) – The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD)
said on Saturday that moderate-to-heavy thunderstorms struck across
the Kingdom on Saturday.
Weather radar imagery showed thunderstorms southeast of Amman and in
Zarqa, as well as parts of Ma’an, Tafileh, and Karak governorates, it
said.
The JMD urged for caution and to stay away from flash flood-prone
valleys and low-lying areas for their safety.
