Washington, October 11 (QNA) – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the attacks launched by the Houthi group on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, which resulted in the deaths of 12 people and injuries to hundreds.
In a post on the X platform, Rubio said that the US strongly condemns the recent attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Houthis, including today’s strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that took numerous innocent lives, including an American citizen.
“These reprehensible attacks demonstrate a blatant disregard for innocent civilian life. They must stop now,” he stressed.
“We stand with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people and extend our condolences to the victims and their families,” the US Secretary of State reaffirmed.
