Two killed, one injured by Israeli fire in southern Lebanon

Beirut, October 11 (Petra) – A Lebanese Army soldier from the town of
Yater was killed in Israeli artillery shelling in southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese security source said the soldier was targeted while
harvesting olives in his hometown.

Separately, a civilian was killed and another injured when a
suspicious object, believed to be Israeli explosive remnants,
exploded in the town of Faroun.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets continued to fly over the Western
Bekaa region, as Israeli artillery shelled the towns of Al-Mansouri,
Majdal Zoun, Wadi Zibqin, Ra’shit, Mifdoun, and Wadi Al-Salouqi.
