Dead Sea, Oct. 11 (Petra) — The Dead Sea Corniche, a key development
project managed by the Jordanian Free and Development Zones Group
(JFDZG), hosted a central event for the 35th General Arab Insurance
Federation Conference (GAIF 35) over three consecutive days.
The event gathered nearly 2,000 participants representing 48
countries, underscoring the location’s capacity to accommodate major
international conferences and gatherings.
Participating delegations praised the venue’s scenic views
overlooking the Dead Sea, as well as the high level of organization
and accompanying artistic program, which featured performances by
prominent Arab and local artists, including Saber Rebaï, Melhem Zein,
and Nidaa Sharara.
In a statement, the JFDZG emphasized that hosting the event aligns
with ongoing efforts to position the Dead Sea Corniche as an
integrated tourism, leisure, and event destination capable of hosting
large-scale conferences, concerts, and festivals year-round.
The group added that the site’s infrastructure and tourism assets
support a wide range of functions, driving local economic and tourism
activity while bolstering the Dead Sea’s profile on Jordan’s
international event map.
