Kyiv, July 08 (QNA) – Ukrainian authorities announced Wednesday that two people were killed and five others injured in Russian attacks targeting several regions across Ukraine.
Ukrainian National News Agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian forces launched an airstrike on the Mykolaiv region, killing two people and injuring two others.
In the Kharkiv region, two people were injured in a missile attack, while at least 20 homes were damaged. In the Zaporizhzhia region, another person was injured following Russian bomb attacks, which also caused partial destruction of a food processing plant.
The clashes between Russia and Ukraine have escalated significantly in recent days, with both sides targeting oil installations and vital infrastructure in both countries, resulting in casualties and material damage.
Russia and Ukraine exchange almost daily reports claiming to have repelled attacks from the other side, without these claims being independently verified, given the ongoing conflict between the two sides since February 2022. (QNA)
