Mafraq, Jan 26 (Petra) – The Agricultural Credit Corporation’s (ACC) Mafraq branch provided loans worth JD4 million last year, according to branch manager Ali Khazaleh.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Sunday, Khazaleh said the loans benefited 626 borrowers, with funding distributed across various initiatives. Among these were the Poverty and Unemployment Lending Project, which supported 77 borrowers with JD250,000, and the Rural Finance Program, which benefited 23 borrowers with loans totaling JD107,000. Loans under the package of projects aimed at revitalizing the agricultural sector amounted to JD355,000, alongside other lending programs.
Khazaleh noted that repayments to the branch reached JD3.6 million over the same period.
