Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) -Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) announced
the closure of the 6th Circle tunnel, starting Tuesday evening for
scheduled lighting upgrades.
In its statement, the GAM said the closure affects traffic heading
from Amman’s Um Uthaina neighborhood via King Faisal Street toward
Princess Alia Street.
The Traffic Operations Department urged drivers to exercise caution,
follow on-site instructions from traffic police and municipal crews,
and use designated detour routes while maintenance is underway.
