Cairo, Feb. 11 (Petra) – Assistant Secretary-General of Arab League, Hossam Zaki, said position of Jordan and Egypt in rejecting plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is “robust.”
In a press statement Tuesday, Zaki underlined a “unified” Arab stance to reject Palestinians’ displacement from their land, calling for dealing with these plans under “complete” pan-Arab harmony.
Zaki also referred to ideas and proposals to rebuild Gaza by the Palestinian workforce under supervision of the Palestinian Authority, adding that “future of the Gaza Strip belongs to Palestinians.”
