Amman, March 18 (Petra) – Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti mourned three Public Security Directorate (PSD) officers who were killed in the line of duty.
The three officers, First Lieutenant Murad Mawajdeh, Sergeant Khaldoun Reqeb and Corporal Subhi Duwaikat. were killed while carrying out a security operation targeting a dangerous wanted suspect involved in drug-related crimes in eastern Amman.
In a statement, Huneiti paid tribute to the officers’ sacrifice, saying that the blood of the fallen will remain a symbol of dedication and a guiding light for those serving to protect the nation’s security and stability.
The Jordan Armed Forces extended their deepest condolences to the families of the slain, praying for God’s mercy upon them and for patience and comfort for their loved ones.
