Amman, March 10 (Petra) — The Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD8.6 million on Tuesday, with 2.5 million shares traded through 2,071 transactions.
The general share price index rose by 0.48 percent to close at 3,636 points.
The services sector index increased by 0.66 percent, followed by the financial sector at 0.43 percent and the industrial sector at 0.22 percent.
Of the 85 companies traded, share prices of 30 companies rose, while 27 companies recorded declines compared with their previous closing prices, and 28 remained unchanged.
