Amman, August 29 (Petra) – The Civil Defence Department on Saturday
urged Jordanians to avoid discarding cigarette butts, warning that
they could cause fires, particularly in dry areas.
The Department called for disposing of cigarette butts and avoiding
throwing them along roadsides or near dry vegetation, especially
during the hot and dry season, to help prevent fires and protect
lives and property.
