Manama, July 09 (QNA) – The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the repeated Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting its territory, as well as Kuwait and Jordan, warning that the attacks represent a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks constitute a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and a breach of international law, the UN Charter, UN Security Council Resolution 2817, and the principles of good neighborly relations. It added that such actions undermine de-escalation efforts and threaten regional peace and security.
The Ministry reaffirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Kuwait and Jordan, and praised the readiness and effectiveness of their armed forces and air defense systems in responding to the attacks, which targeted civilian and vital infrastructure and placed civilians at risk. (QNA)
