Amman, Feb. 5 (Petra) Brazilian President Luiz In?cio Lula da Silva on Wednesday expressed astonishment at a U.S. proposal regarding American “control” over Gaza, saying the idea is difficult to comprehend.
In an interview with AFP, aired on Brazilian radio, Lula stated, “The ones who should be responsible for Gaza’s future are the Palestinians. They need to be compensated for everything that has been destroyed so they can rebuild their homes, hospitals, and schools and live with dignity and respect. This proposal is almost incomprehensible.”
