Doha, December 12 (QNA) – HE British Minister of State for Investment Lord Dominic Johnson underlined the strength of the extended and close bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and the State of Qatar in various fields of investment and business, pointing out to the great potential to enhance cooperation between businessmen in both countries.
This came in his meeting with HE Chairman of the Board of Directors of QIIB Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al-Thani, during which they discussed the various economic aspects and the investment opportunities available in Britain for the Qatari businessmen.
HE British Minister of State for Investment expressed his admiration for the perfect organization of the FIFA World Cup 2022, wishing all the success for the remaining activities of this important event.
For his part, HE Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al-Thani stressed that the deep historical relations and ties between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom help the business sectors of both countries to consolidate their cooperation in the interest of both sides.
