Saudi Arabia’s Voluntary Carbon Market Fuels the Shift to a Low-Carbon
Amman, May 28 (Petra)– Firefighting teams from the Zarqa Civil
Defense Directorate extinguished a fire that broke out inside an iron
factory covering an area of approximately 1,000 square meters in
Zarqa Governorate, the Public Security Directorate spokesperson said
on Thursday.
The spokesperson said specialized firefighting crews managed to
contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby facilities.
The incident resulted in injuries to three Asian nationals. Two
sustained various burns to their bodies, while the third suffered
breathing difficulties caused by inhaling smoke and gases emitted
from the fire.
Ambulance teams provided first aid to the injured before transferring
them to Zarqa Government Hospital. Their conditions remain under
treatment.
Authorities have formed an investigation committee to determine the
cause of the fire.
