Washington, July 12 (QNA) The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Sunday that it targeted approximately 140 Iranian military targets using precision munitions launched by land- and sea-based fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels.
In a statement, CENTCOM said it had completed a third round of strikes, targeting Iranian missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, communications networks, and coastal surveillance sites.
CENTCOM indicated that over the course of three rounds of strikes, it targeted more than 300 sites, with the aim of degrading Iran’s ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial vessels freely transiting the Strait of Hormuz. (QNA)
