CEO of Global 42 Network visits the ’42 Amman’ programme campus

Amman, February 10 (Petra) — CEO of the Global 42 Network, Sophie Viger, visited the campus of the “42 Amman”, one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s programs under the Economic Participation pathway, according to a statement.

The visit was attended by the CEO of the College for Advance Vocational Training (CAVT) in Jordan, one of the Foundation’s programs Ammar Gharaibeh, the Director of the 42 Amman Programme, Tina Sweis, the Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation at the French Embassy, Billy Troy, and students participating in the program.

Viger toured the facilities of “42 Amman,” which operates 24/7, and met with several students who shared their unique experiences. The students expressed their appreciation for the learning and development opportunities provided by the program, which have significantly enhanced their technical and personal skills.

Expressing her admiration for the program’s facilities and student engagement, Viger stated: “We are proud to see the progress that ’42 Amman’ is making, reflecting the vision of the Global 42 Network in empowering youth through innovative and unconventional education.

The approach equips them with skills that align with global job market demands, including adaptability, teamwork, and modern learning methodologies, enabling graduates to excel in their careers.”

Gharaibeh highlighted the growing interest in “42 Amman” from individuals across all Jordanian governorates. He also noted that plans are underway to open new campuses of the program in the northern and southern regions of Jordan.

Billy Troy expressed the French Embassy’s pride in its strategic partnership with “42 Amman,” praising the positive impact the program has achieved in its first year.

It is worth mentioning that the “42 Amman” programme was launched in 2023 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II as one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s programme under the Economic Participation pathway.

The programme is implemented by the College of Advanced Vocational Training in Jordan (CAVT), one of the Foundation’s programmes, in collaboration with the French organization CHAMS, which specializes in coding education and employment, as well as the Jordanian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the French Embassy.

The program offers a fully free educational opportunity in computer science and programming, based on peer-to-peer learning, with continuously updated curricula. It aims to empower young people with the necessary skills to access promising local and global job opportunities in the technology sector.
