Amman, Feb. 16 (Petra) – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on Israel to end the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza during a meeting with his Israeli counterpart on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
According to China Global Television Network (CGTN), Wang reiterated China’s stance that the only fundamental solution to the Middle East conflict lies in implementing the two-state solution.
He also expressed hope for the effective implementation of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, paving the way for a comprehensive and lasting truce.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has carried out mass killings, genocide, and crimes against humanity against civilians in Gaza, resulting in over 50,000 deaths, most of whom are women and children.
