Crown Prince’s tech vision “crucial” for economic competitiveness: Expert

Amman, Sept. 8 (Petra) – Jordan Chamber of Commerce Information and
Communication Technology representative Haytham Rawjbeh stated on
Tuesday the strategic importance of HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin
Abdullah II chairing the National Council for Future Technology’s
regular meeting.

Rawjbeh told Jordan News Agency (Petra) that monitoring national
digital transformation plans, specifically the upcoming Sanad
Business app, will enhance economic competitiveness and streamline
public and business services.

Tuesday’s meeting addressed progress on the application designed to
streamline services for the private sector. The Crown Prince stressed
that all required business and citizen services must be fully
functional and tested in coordination with relevant entities prior to
launch.

Rawjbeh noted the key business needs for the app, including business
registration and licensing, official data queries, permit approvals,
license renewals, and e-payments.

He urged continuous collaboration between the council and the private
sector to ensure the platform directly addresses real-world business
needs and accelerates digital adoption across the Kingdom.
