Development program supports 21 small businesses in Ma’an

Ma’an, July 26 (Petra) — The Al-Qantara Center, in partnership with
Oxfam and with support from the Italian Agency for Development
Cooperation (AICS), has implemented a program to support small
businesses across Ma’an Governorate, benefiting 21 owners of small
enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures.

The program provided a package of business development services
tailored to the needs of each project, including in-kind support in
the form of equipment and tools valued at between 3,000 and 3,500
euros per business. The assistance was aimed at meeting essential
operational needs, improving productivity and strengthening each
project’s operational capacity.

The initiative also included one-on-one mentoring and specialized
advisory sessions covering technical, administrative and financial
aspects to help participants develop their businesses, improve
operational plans and enhance their readiness for growth and
expansion.

In addition, participating businesses were allowed to showcase their
products and services during the two-day Market for All bazaar. The
program also provided promotional materials, including business
cards, roll-up banners and posters, helping strengthen the
businesses’ professional presence and expand their reach to potential
customers.
