Dollar Hovers Near Three-Week Low as Treasury Yields Fall

Tokyo, October 21 (QNA) – The US dollar remained on the defensive on Wednesday after hitting a three-week low in the previous session, weighed down by falling US Treasury yields and lower oil prices.

The dollar was also steady at 158.33 yen and $1.1229 per euro, while sterling traded at $1.33735.

The Australian dollar edged up 0.1% to $0.7013, just below the previous session’s three-week high of $0.7017, while the New Zealand dollar slipped 0.1% to $0.5677. (QNA)
