Amman, Feb. 4 (Petra) — Jordan has made significant strides in advancing entrepreneurship and innovation as part of its Economic Modernization Vision (2023–2025), according to the 2024 annual report.
Key achievements in this area include the development and implementation of a sustainable remedial program designed to address learning loss for all age groups. The expansion of early childhood education to include children under the age of four has also been initiated, alongside efforts to enhance the Student Support Fund through increased financial backing from the private sector and civil society organizations.
Additionally, the report highlighted the adoption of Jordanian accreditation standards for academic programs, aligned with international best practices in accreditation and quality assurance. The university proficiency exam mechanisms have also been updated to better measure academic learning outcomes.
The report further emphasized the completion of projects aimed at developing professional standards in collaboration with sectoral skill councils and the private sector. Additionally, a nationwide initiative to change social behavior around vocational and technical education has been launched to encourage more students to pursue these important fields.
