Cairo, July 12 (QNA) – Egypt on Sunday condemned in the strongest terms the criminal Iranian attacks targeting the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain, considering them a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of those countries and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the Gulf region and undermines efforts aimed at de-escalation and strengthening regional security.
In a statement, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Egypt’s complete rejection of all Iranian attacks targeting the security and sovereignty of Arab states or threatening the security and stability of the region, renewing its full solidarity with the sisterly Gulf states and its support for them in the face of anything that undermines their security and territorial integrity.
The ministry also stressed that no pretexts or justifications for these rejected and condemned attacks can be accepted, calling for an immediate halt to all escalatory actions and adherence to the rules of international law in a manner that preserves the region’s security and spares its peoples further tension and instability.
