Brussels, July 02 (QNA) – European stock markets opened mixed on Thursday as investors await the US employment report for June and the signals it may carry about the future trajectory of interest rates.
Among major European markets, France’s CAC 40 index in Paris rose by 0.30%, Britain’s FTSE 100 index in London dropped by 0.11%.
The European STOXX 600 index fell 0.1% to 638.27 points.
Germany’s DAX index in Frankfurt declined 0.08%, whereas Italy’s FTSE MIB in Milan recorded a slight increase of 0.09%. (QNA)
