Amman, February 4 (Petra) — European stocks opened lower on Tuesday, driven by declines in the auto and telecommunications sectors.
According to Bloomberg, the European Stoxx 600 index dropped 0.3% at the market open, following its largest one-day decline in a month during the previous session.
Shares in the auto sector fell 1%, while telecommunications stocks dropped 0.8%. The banking sector saw a modest rise of 0.3%, and the technology sector gained 1.41%.
