European Stocks Open Lower

Brussels, July 22 (QNA) – European stock indices opened lower on Wednesday as markets balanced renewed momentum in technology shares against concerns over a resurgence of inflation amid rising energy prices.
Among the major European markets, France’s CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange fell by 0.11%, while Germany’s DAX index in Frankfurt edged down 0.04%.
Italy’s FTSE MIB index also declined by 0.23%, while Britain’s FTSE 100 index in London slipped 0.11%. (QNA)
