Amman, June 27 (Petra) – Saturday’s weather will be mild in the
Kingdom’s plains and mountains, while the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead
Sea, and Aqaba will experience cooler temperatures.
This change will be accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds,
which becomes more active, mainly in the desert regions.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), Sunday will
see a slight drop in mercury, as hot weather is expected in the
desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Meanwhile, Monday will see the highest temperatures, as blistering
weather is forecast in several areas and it be hot in the desert,
Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Today’s temperatures in Amman will range between 32-19 degrees
Celsius. The level in the moutains will stand at a 28- 17C scale,
the desert areas at 38-21C, the Dead Sea at 39-24C, while the Gulf of
Aqaba will see a scorching 40C, sliding to 25C at night .
