Doha, September 29 (QNA) – HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held separate meetings with his counterparts from Tanzania, Nepal and Bangladesh on the sidelines of the 2026 annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), being hosted by Qatar.
HE Al Kuwari met HE Minister of Finance of the United Republic of Tanzania Khamis Mussa Omar, HE Minister of Finance of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal Dr Swarnim Wagle, and HE Minister of Finance and Planning of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.
The meetings focused on bilateral relations between Qatar and the three countries and ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the financial, economic, investment and trade sectors.
The officials also discussed key developments and issues of mutual interest.
The AIIB annual meeting brings together officials and representatives from member countries to discuss infrastructure investment and economic development. (QNA)
