Amman, March 8 (Petra) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi held a telephone call on Sunday with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
The two ministers discussed the Iranian attacks on Jordan, Qatar, and countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and affirmed their condemnation of the attacks.
Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed stressed absolute solidarity in confronting what they described as a serious threat to the security of Jordan, Qatar, and other Arab states.
They also discussed prospects for restoring calm and de-escalating tensions in the region.
