Amman, Feb 18 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, met on Tuesday with UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process and Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement, discussions went over efforts to solidify the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure implementation of its phases.
The statement added that both sides underlined the necessity of sustaining flow of “immediate and sufficient” humanitarian aid to all areas of the Palestinian strip.
