Amman, July 28 (Petra) France on Monday reiterated its firm support for the two-state solution as the only viable path to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during the opening of an international conference at the United Nations.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stated, “A political solution based on the creation of two states is the only way to meet the legitimate aspirations of both Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace and security,” stressing that “there is no alternative.”
