Amman, July 20 (Petra) The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) will
begin overnight resurfacing work on Queen Alia Street in the Abdali
district starting at midnight on Monday, as part of its plan to
rehabilitate primary thoroughfares across the capital.
Executive Director of Roads at the municipality, Sulaiman
Al-Shammari, stated that the resurfacing work on Queen Alia Street
will stretch from the Sports City Roundabout to the Interior Ministry
(Dakhliya) Roundabout.
Al-Shammari noted that the work will be executed during nighttime
hours to avoid traffic congestion, maintain smooth traffic flow, and
ensure the project is completed effectively. He added that the
operations are being conducted in coordination with the Traffic
Department to manage vehicles and implement necessary detours to
ensure the safety of road users.
