Gaza Strip, Feb 16 (Petra) — The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned on Sunday against a severe oxygen shortage in the Strip’s hospitals.
Hospitals are suffering after the destruction of central stations at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Al-Rantisi and Indonesian hospitals, Al-Nasr Complex and Sheikh Radwan Clinic, it warned in a statement.
The ministry said the Israeli occupation forces’ prevention of oxygen stations from entering the Gaza hospitals will exacerbate the crisis and threaten patients’ lives.
The ministry appealed to international institutions and concerned bodies to secure access of oxygen stations.
