Irbid, Jan. 5 (Petra) – The Greater Irbid Municipality has finalized all procedures for the tender related to the application of MC+ base layers and two finishing coats (seal coat) for several streets within the municipality’s jurisdiction.
The municipality’s Tenders manager, Inas Haddad, stated that the tender value amounts to JD297,000, with a project duration of approximately 175 days starting from the work commencement date.
Haddad explained that the implementation of this tender was prompted by the urgent need in several areas, particularly where newly established and opened streets have deteriorated due to continuous erosion and dust, negatively impacting residents and passersby in these neighborhoods.
The tender includes a three-phase maintenance process: the first phase involves spreading base course material, followed by applying MC, and concluding with two finishing seal coat layers. These measures aim to preserve the newly constructed road surfaces and minimize the dispersion of dust and dirt.
