During a meeting Sunday with Azerbaijan Ambassador, Eldar Salimov, the committee’s head, MP Dina Bashir, said the “steadfast” Jordanian position towards the Palestinian cause is based on His Majesty King Abdullah II’s visions and keenness to fulfill the Kingdom’s national principles.
Noting justice of the Palestinian cause, Bashir voiced the importance of achieving a just and comprehensive peace by establishing a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The MP also stressed the “strong” Jordanian-Azerbaijani ties, based on mutual respect and continuous cooperation in various fields, under the two countries’ leaderships.
